DESCRIPTION:There will be a Dojo Instructor course offered on April 25 – 26\, 2026.  Registration is now open at https://thelocker.coach.ca/event/registration/15188 \n  \nThe course details are: \nSchedule – April 25 from 9 am – 5 pm and April 26 from 9 am – 2 pm \nFacility – Provincial Training Centre at 439 McPhillips Street\, Winnipeg \nCost – $250 \nRegistration deadline – April 15\, 2026 \n  \nPrerequisites for the course are: \n\nMinimum age of 18.\nMinimum rank of Brown belt with a working knowledge of the judo techniques included in the Judo Canada Kyu syllabus.\nComplete the on-line “Nutrition for Judo Coaches” E-learning module available at:http://www.judocanada.org/introduction-to-nutrition/ \nTrained DA or Trained Community Coach.\nSterling Backcheck for all Candidates coaches who are 18 years old and older via Sterling agency – for details see:https://www.sterlingtalentsolutions.ca/landingpages/j/judo-canada/.  The Backcheck is required only if the length of time between the check done for the DA was done more than 3 years earlier.  \n\n  \nIf you have any questions\, please contact Brian Jones at selkirkjudoclub@shaw.ca
