COVID-19 Announcement
With today’s announcements from Judo Canada and the Government of Manitoba on the COVID-19 virus, and the collective well-being of its members and their families being the highest priority, the executive of Judo Manitoba are cancelling the Balmoral Open on March 28. We are also directing clubs to cancel classes until after Friday, April 3. Provincial Team workouts are also cancelled until after April 3. We regret the impact on those who have worked so hard to plan the Balmoral Open and people’s training plans. The executive of Judo Manitoba will be meeting on Thursday, April 2 to reassess the situation. An update will be provided to clubs and members after this meeting.

Congratulations to Sasha Zigic from the Nakamura Judo Club, who was awarded the 2019 David Caligiuri scholarship and plaque on June 5, 2019, at the University of Manitoba.
Women’s Judo Day Camp
On May 26, 2019, over 40 women and girls attended Judo Manitoba’s first Judo Day Camp for female athletes.
