Mandate:
- The Provincial Officials Committee ensures that all tournaments sanctioned by Judo Manitoba have an appropriate coverage of referees and technical officials.
- The committee strives to maintain high standards of officiating and provides formal and informal instruction (through mentoring, clinics, etc.) for the continued development of officials in Manitoba.
- The committee reviews and assigns referees (with the required experience and qualifications) for participation in out-of-province tournaments.
- The activities of the Committee include selection and preparation of officials for testing to reach the next level of officiating (e.g. Provincial, National examinations).
